Where do you start?
We all heard location, location, Location in Real Estate before, well what does that mean?
The only thing you cannot change on a home is where its located, and its lot size, So first and foremost research its neighborhood. Check the school ratings, how far are you from the schools, What’s the crime rate, how far is the access to the nearest major highway, food and shopping, are there any of your favorites nearby? Are you interested in a corner lot, do you prefer to have side yard access, does your neighborhood have an HOA (Home Owners Association)? These are all questions we should ask ourselves when considering purchasing a home. Everything else within a home can always be modified or upgraded.
Everyone’s situation is unique so be sure to let your Realtor know as many details as possible and in the order of importance.
